Follow this guide only if you have an accountant portal. If you are on the individual plan, please visit this guide instead.

Crypto Tax Calculator (CTC) is a yearly subscription platform. This means that you pay upfront for the entire year, and your subscription auto-renews every year.

With the accountant portal, instead of being charged on the annual renewal date, we collect all due payments and charge you at the end of every month to make it easier for you to manage the billings.

1. Payment Details Management

If your client is the one paying for the subscription, you do not need to do anything on your end. Check this guide for more details.

Access your billing history and manage payment details by clicking on the human icon in the top-right corner and selecting 'Billing.'

Billing history

Initial payment is always made on the date of the first subscription, which, in this case, was February 4, 2023.

Subsequent billing dates are set for the 1st of each month. In this case, the $249 charged on Aug 1, 2023 could be subscribed on July 25, 2023 or any time in July.

Active card

💳 This should be your card details, not the client's.

You can update your card details here. The newly added card details will overwrite the original one.

2. Client Subscription Management

With the accountant portal, you are only billed when you subscribe on behalf of a client. You can check and manage the subscriptions on your Clients page.

To cancel a client's subscription at the end of the period, select 'Cancel Subscription' from the options menu (represented by three dots) next to the client's name.

  • If your client is the one paying for the subscription, you do not need to do anything on your end. Check this guide for more details.

  • For more details about how data sharing works, please head to this guide.

3. Check your invoices and receipts

Receipts for all payments, including credit and debit, are sent to the admin accountant's email. Search your email for 'CTC LEDGER' to locate receipts.

If you are a collaborator (i.e., you received an invitation as a teammate from your colleague), you do not receive any invoices or receipts. Please reach out to your admin account holder for the receipts.

If you still can’t find them, please reach out to our support team to resend the receipts to your admin email.
