If you share data with your accountant or client, you also share access to the paid features that come with the subscription. Only one of you needs to pay for the subscription.

TL;DR

Working Data is Client imported data

✅ Accountant has report access

✅ Client has report access

As A Client

As a client, if your working data is 'My imported data,' it is recommended that you manage the subscription yourself so you have control over both your data and subscription.

If the working data is 'Accountant data', you can discuss the subscription billings with your accountant.

The party billed can be changed at the end of the billing cycle. You or your accountant can follow the steps here to cancel the subscription before the next billing date, and the other party can subscribe for the next billing period to continue accessing your reports.

As An Accountant

Only your client can select the working data. You can check which one is shared on your 'Client settings' page.

You can pay for the subscription, even if the working data is 'Client imported data'.

If you want your client to pay for the subscription, please advise them to subscribe from their own account. Do not enter your client's card details into your account, as the card in your account will be charged for all your clients' subscriptions. Refer to this guide for more details.

You or your client can change the billed party at the end of the billing cycle. Follow these steps to cancel the subscription before the next billing date. Then, the other party can subscribe for the next billing period to continue accessing reports. For more information on how to manage your client's subscription, check this guide.
