This is a guide on your accountant Workspace Settings page. If you want to manage your Client Settings, please go to the Accountant Portal: The 'Client Settings' Page guide. If you are not on the accountant plan, please go to the Settings Page guide.
Workspace Settings
This is your Accountant Admin Personal settings. There are two ways to access this page. Click the profile icon at the top right of the page. The Workspace Settings button will then appear in the menu.
You can also access the Workspace Settings in your accountant dashboard's left-side menu.
The Workspace Settings have three sections: Account, Billing, and Team.
Account
Profile
If you log in via OAuth (Google, Coinbase, or Xero), your Profile section looks like the image below.
You can disconnect your OAuth account and change it to the email and password login method. Note: This action cannot be undone.
You do not have an option to change your email.
If you log in via email address and password, your Profile section looks like the image below.
This is your admin email. Changing the email will change your account admin login details and where the invoices and receipts are sent. Note: If you decide to change your email, you can only use an email that is not currently associated with any CTC accounts. | |
Name | You can change your name here. |
Country | This cannot be changed once you have chosen the Country. |
Language | Currently, we support English, Deutsch, Español, Francais, and Italiano. More languages to come 😉 |
Account Password | If you signed up via email and password, you can change your password here. |
2FA | You can enable 2FA to increase your account security. |
OAuth | This displays if you log in via Google, Coinbase, or Xero OAuth. You can disconnect OAuth and create a password. Note: Disabling OAuth cannot be undone. Once you disconnect OAuth, you can only log in via email and password. |
Personal Invitation Link
Personal invitation link | You can copy your personal client invitation link and share it with your clients. For more information about inviting a client, click here. |
Invite code | You can personalize your invite code. |
Email Reports
Experience
This option is toggled on by default; however, if there are issues with scrolling on the Transactions page, it is recommended that you turn it off (check this guide for more details). If an issue persists, contact the support team.
Support
When opening a support chat inquiry and/or if support asks you to provide your accountant account's UID (User Identification Number), please navigate to the bottom of this Account page to find your UID.
Manage Data
Clear Data | Clears all data from your accountant account. Note: This action cannot be undone. |
Delete Account | This option is not available. If you wish to delete your accountant account, please contact the support team via the in-app messenger. |
Billing
You can review your billing history and manage your active card for subscription payments. Please check this guide for more details.
Note: The card details should belong to you, not your client. This card will be charged for all your clients' subscriptions. If you want your clients to pay for their own subscriptions, please invite them to the platform and ask them to subscribe using their own account. Check this guide for more details.
Team
You can find your team members' details, manage access, and invite new team members. Please check this guide for more information about inviting team members.
Clicking the 3 dots on the right side will give you the options to:
Reinvite Team Member (for pending invitations only)
Cancel Invitation (for pending invitations only)
Revoke access (for accepted invitations only)
