If you encounter issues with your Crypto Tax Calculator (CTC) account, in most cases, you can quickly fix it with these two simple steps. This may apply to the following situations:

  • You receive a "Something went wrong" or “Unknown” error message.

  • Transaction edits are not saving or updating.

  • Your CTC account is loading slowly.

  • Calculations are not updating or reflecting changes.

  • Reports take too long to generate or stop generating.

  • App is unresponsive or not reacting to actions.

  • Other unexpected errors or performance issues on the platform.

1. Refresh calculations in your Settings.

On any page of your CTC account, click the Pill icon in the upper right corner and click Refresh calculations even if the pill is green.

Or go to Settings > Tax and click 'Refresh calculations', even if it appears they have already been auto-refreshed.

2. Hard refresh the page.

This step clears your browser's cache for the page, forcing it to load the most recent version of that page from the server. This can resolve many issues that occur due to outdated or corrupted files stored in the browser cache.
