This toggle simplifies your transfer and bridge transactions by automatically detecting and generating fees when there is a discrepancy between the sent and received amounts. This feature ensures that your transactions are accurate and consistent without the need for manual adjustments.

You can find this toggle under Settings → Tax → CTC Magic section.

Toggle Off: No Auto-generated Fees

When the auto-detect feature is disabled, CTC Magic will not generate any fees if there is a discrepancy between the sent and received amounts for grouped transfers or bridges. The transaction amounts will remain as they are.

Example: Although there is a discrepancy between the sent and received amount, no fee is auto-detected.

Toggle On: Auto-generate Fees

When the auto-detect feature is enabled, CTC Magic will automatically generate a fee if there is a discrepancy between the sent and received amounts for grouped transfers or bridges. This ensures there is consistency in the amounts sent and received.

Example: CTC Magic detected a discrepancy between the sent and received amount. Hence, it automatically created a 0.1 BTC fee and changed the quantity of 'send' to 1 BTC.

These system-generated changes are listed in the 'EDIT HISTORY' tab.

Reverting Changes

You can revert the changes made by the auto-detect feature at any time by simply toggling it off and on again.

Example: I turned off the toggle. The 'send' amount becomes 1.1 BTC again, and the fee is deleted.

Manual Edits

If you manually edit a transaction's fee, CTC Magic will not revert these changes when the auto-detect feature is toggled on or off. Manually edited transactions retain their specified fees regardless of the auto-detect setting.
