As of June 6, 2024, Coinbase Pro has deprecated its API, which means users can no longer sync transactions via API. If you have previously imported transactions using the Coinbase Pro API in Crypto Tax Calculator (CTC), you may see a "Sync failed" message when attempting to resync.

Who is Affected?
Users who have previously imported transactions using the Coinbase Pro API and need to import new Coinbase Pro transactions.
What Has Changed?
The Coinbase Pro API is no longer operational, meaning API resyncs will not work.
Transactions previously imported via API will remain in your account as long as the API key is not deleted.
CSV download from Coinbase Pro is available until the end of 2027.
What do I do now?
CTC makes it easy to transition from API to CSV imports:
Go to Account page > Coinbase Pro in CTC and follow the import instructions to download your complete Coinbase Pro transaction history as a CSV file.
Upload the CSV file to your CTC account.
Important Note:
No duplicate transactions: CTC will only import CSV data from the last API import date to prevent duplicates.
DO NOT delete the API key, even if it shows an error. Deleting it will remove all previously imported transactions, and they cannot be restored.
