This is a frequently asked question especially from our UK users due to the Number of Disposals required when filing the tax.

For the UK users, you can see this figure in your Report Summary.

You might have noticed that you have more disposal transactions on your Capital Gains Report than the total transactions on your Transactions Report. The main reason is that a ‘sell’ transaction (or any type of disposal category) in the Transactions Report can be multiple disposals in the Capital Gains Report.

For example, a ‘sell’ of NEAR shows as one transaction in CryptoTaxCalculator. (You can get the below view if you click the arrow next to the ‘sell’.)

This transaction shows as one transaction in the Transactions Report.

It shows as three disposals in the Capital Gains Report due to the different acquisition times and prices although they are disposed of in the same transaction.
